Local First will be co-sponsoring the January Green Drinks event.
WHAT: Green Drinks, an informal get-together of people who work in the environmental field in some capacity or those who are simply interested in environmentalism. Hosted by a different organization each month, Green Drinks of the Capital Region is a casual and unstructured event - no agenda, no speaker; no power point presentation - just a good time over a cool beverage.
WHY: Because you are green, because you want to go green, because you want to meet other environmentally minded people and professionals... maybe you are looking for work in a related field or looking for someone to hire. Maybe you've worked really hard these past weeks simply want to have a fun evening out. You deserve it.
WHO: You, the one who is curious about environmental issues or working in a related profession. You, the one who wants to meet others with similar interests, network, learn something new and have some fun while you're at it!
